The Department of Government Support is affiliated with three government entities in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi School of Government, Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and Human Resources Authority.
UX/UI of Esnadi for Department of Government Support
The primary obstacle was addressing the absence of a centralized support services hub for over 500 employees at DGS. Within the sector, there are four separate entities with a total of 105 employees, each lacking the ability to access or utilize services across entities.
Consequently, this leads to a diverse and time-consuming procedure that involves over 200 services. As a result, leaders are unable to fully focus on essential business activities and must allocate a significant amount of time to handle these tasks.
I was tasked with designing a user-friendly intranet portal that effectively facilitates employees in fulfilling their support service needs.
To begin the project, we conducted a thorough analysis of the features and key aspects of SiteCore, which initially had a basic user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). Our main goal was to improve the overall user experience and revamp the design accordingly.
I was employed by American Eagle agency to work on this project.
Initiate a new service request
Creating a new service request was simplified by implementing a search feature. Employees can easily initiate a request by typing relevant keywords, which generates a list of applicable services. Clicking on a service opens a service card displaying details such as processing time, required documents, and other relevant information.
