GEAP Group
Geap Group is a family-owned company with businesses in the Middle East, headquartered in Dubai since the early 1970s. It has seven smaller companies under it, including Geap International, G-2 International, Plastaspray UAE, Gulf Shipchandlers, Geap Foods, Geap Transport, and Geap Farms.
Logos & website design for GEAP Group
Geap Group has participated in a range of note worthy projects including Dubai International Airport, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Dubai Mall and currently, in the Expo 2020 pavilions.
My responsibilities encompassed crafting unique and visually compelling logos that effectively represent the distinct identity and services offered by each company, which are as follows:
1. Plastaspray
2. Geap Transport
3. Gulf Shipchandlers
4. Geap Foods
5. Geap Group
Plastaspray
Plastaspray UAE, formed in 1988, undertakes the manufacturing and application of thermoplastic road markings in the Middle East.
I redesigned the company's logo to effectively communicate their core business of road marking services in the Middle East. The unique concept involved combining a road symbol with the national bird of the UAE, resulting in a visually striking logo that captures attention and conveys the company's identity.
Upon presenting this concept to the client, they were genuinely impressed and immediately approved the design.
GEAP Foods
GEAP Foods is involved in the supply of a range of food products and consumable products to various clients from different market sectors from hotels to supermarkets to restaurants.
I redesigned the company's logo to communicate hygiene, customer satisfaction, and quality. By combining care elements with a smiley face, I created a simple yet visually appealing mark. The client swiftly approved the logo, showing their immediate satisfaction with the design.
GEAP Transport
Geap Transport services the specialized logistics requirements of the Geap Group, with a fleet of over 50 diversified vehicles, operating on a 24/7 basis for receiving and dispatching goods.
The client had a clear and straightforward requirement for the logo design. They requested the incorporation of a vehicle symbol to effectively communicate the nature of the company's operations. Additionally, an italic font and a slanting vehicle to convey a sense of movement and speed, emphasizing the direction of progress was creative touch from my end.
Gulf Shipchandlers
Gulf Shipchandlers (GSC) offers 24/7 supply to ships at all ports of the UAE. GSC is one of the oldest shipchandling companies is the region, involved in supplying major requirements of ocean-going vessels including oil tankers, cruise liners, offshore rigs, and oil and gas establishments (onshore and offshore).
A simple and impactful wordmark was developed for the company, capturing its essence with a clean and powerful design. Following minor adjustments, the client approved the wordmark, indicating their satisfaction with the final result.
GEAP International
Geap International has been a pioneer in the region since the 1970 and has been responsible for the supply of steel to many major projects in the UAE, including the Burj Al Arab, Dubai International Airport, The Heart of Europe on the World Islands, as well as most major bridges and flyovers.
The client required a strong wordmark that would effectively represent their company, which boasts an impressive portfolio and serves as the parent company for numerous subsidiaries. They sought a design that was simple yet bold, capable of capturing their essence and making a memorable impact.
